Farringtons 1st lecture (The Human Condition)

I really enjoyed Farringtons first lecture for the new brief (the human condition).we looked at a number of photographers to get us inspired. The photographer that stayed in my mind was James Nachtwey.I have never seen photography that has reduced me to tears his work is so powerful.
I think his own quote really reflects what his photography is about and the message he is trying to get across.

"I have been a witness, and these pictures are

my testimony. The events I have recorded should

not be forgotten and must not be repeated."

Fashion illustration

I have always really enjoyed experimenting with Fashion illustration.Along with my photography over the duration of this course i am going to spend a little bit more time taking my illustrating to the next level. Here are some examples of work that i find really inspiring.

Self Portrait

This is a task that has been set for us by Harrison to be completed ready for module 2.We are to take a self portrait to try and express something about ourselves visually through our own style of photography. To get me inspired and to help me generate some ideas I think its time to get a good old mind map started :) DEADLINE 31st FEB.
