Sally Mann

Sally Mann is most famous for the photography she produced using her children as her models.Although i think all her work is great i came across this photograph and fell in love with it.Everything about this image is interesting from the composition to the use of colour.

City Photography

These are just a few photographs i found on the internet that have really inspired me for the new module.

Corporate photography

I really like this photograph as it is a great example of showing that corporate photography can be portrayed in a much more interesting way than just taking photographs of someone in there work place.

Mark Hemmings (Mannequins)

I really like these photographs by Mark Hemmings. I think it is really interesting how altho these are photographs of Mannequins they are no less powerful than what they would have been if they were of real people. These photographs have really inspired me to think outside the box for the people and places brief.

Farringtons 1st lecture (The Human Condition)

I really enjoyed Farringtons first lecture for the new brief (the human condition).we looked at a number of photographers to get us inspired. The photographer that stayed in my mind was James Nachtwey.I have never seen photography that has reduced me to tears his work is so powerful.
I think his own quote really reflects what his photography is about and the message he is trying to get across.

"I have been a witness, and these pictures are

my testimony. The events I have recorded should

not be forgotten and must not be repeated."
